The eMSME initiative is to develop capacities and skills of micro and small entrepreneurs in ICT skills and web management to promote their enterprises and activities. The programme components include ICT literacy for entrepreneurs and training on web skills and capacities to manage their own web platforms. So far 25 MSMEs have been covered in Assam in 2011. The eMSME is a national initiative of Digital Empowerment Foundation and Verisign. North East Development Foundation is the regional implementation partner.
